Rahul graduated With Distinction from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science and Psychology. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario, before joining Grillo Barrister P.C. as an Articling Student in July 2015.
During law school, Rahul worked a Researcher with Professor Richard H. McLaren. Rahul was the Lead Researcher for the Innovative Dispute Resolution: The Alternative publication. Rahul fostered his interest in advocacy by competing in various moots at law school including being a representative for Western at an External Moot Competition. Rahul was actively involved in his school community as a volunteer with Pro Bono Students Canada, an Student Ambassador for Western Law, and a member of the Student Legal Society.
Rahul’s background in law and life sciences along with his experience working at an out-patient walk-in clinic provides him with a unique perspective when analyzing legal issues and understanding client injuries.
Rahul is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi. In his free time, Rahul enjoys playing basketball and ball hockey, and spending time with friends and family.
