Clayton was called to the Ontario Bar in 2016 after completing his articles at Grillo Barristers. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Astrophysics from Queen’s University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor. Clayton exclusively practices plaintiff-side personal injury law.
Clayton understands that every case is unique, and recognizes that understanding the particular circumstances is essential to obtaining the best possible result for his clients. He critically assesses the issues throughout a proceeding, and advises clients of their options at every stage. Clayton firmly believes that such a hands-on approach helps his clients achieve their long-term goal, and minimize unnecessary delays and expenses. He works tirelessly on behalf of his clients, whether that involves preparing for mediation, or assertive negotiations with defence counsel.
Clayton has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, and Landlord and Tenant Board. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association, and Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.
Outside the office, Clayton’s interests include playing hockey, the Toronto Maple Leafs, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends.
