Stephen Whibbs was called to the Bar in 2016. He attended law school at the University of Victoria and graduated in 2015 with a Juris Doctor degree. Prior to attending law school, Stephen obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto in 2011.
Stephen is a passionate litigator with keen analytical skills. During law school, he volunteered with Pro-Bono Students of Canada and with the Victoria Restorative Justice Society. As a volunteer member of Victoria’s Legal Information Clinic, he drafted opinions and assisted clients during his first and second years of legal study. Before attending law school, Stephen worked with at-risk communities as a residential counsellor at a downtown Toronto group home. In addition to receiving post-secondary entrance scholarships, Stephen was recognized with an award during his third year of law school for fostering better relationships between members of the student body and organizing social events.
