Each case is different, but generally, most cases are settled out of court. <strong>Data shows that over 95% of personal injury cases will settle before ever proceeding to trial.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In our practice and experience, <strong>many of our clients\u2019 cases can be resolved before the trial process<\/strong> through settlement negotiations with insurance companies and adverse parties. <strong>Our goal is to bring your case to a positive resolution as quickly as possible.<\/strong> With this goal in mind, our team of professionals actively works to settle your case every step of the way.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes, a case cannot be resolved before trial. <strong>Trials generally take place many years after the accident or injury occurs.<\/strong> Trials are lengthy, expensive, and hard on everyone involved. Generally, all the important people will be there like you, your Grillo Law representative, and the insurance company.<br \/>\n<strong>Mediation is unique opportunity to exclusively discuss the issues in a claim freely and openly.<\/strong> Many, many cases settle at mediation, however it isn\u2019t necessary or mandatory in all cases.<br \/>\nClaims commenced in Toronto, Windsor, and Ottawa are subject to mandatory mediation before a trial can be scheduled.
