News: Collision on Hwy. 404 in north Toronto kills man, 26

TORONTO, ON – A single-vehicle crash in the Pleasant View area on Monday night claimed the life of a driver, according to Global News.

The crash took place shortly after 8 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 404 near the Finch Avenue East overpass.

First responders say a vehicle veered off the roadway, through the grassy median and slammed into a bridge overpass support.

The driver, an unidentified 26-year-old man, was rushed to an area trauma centre. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
