News: Collision on Hwy. 400 in Holland Marsh seriously injures 2 MTO workers

TORONTO, ON – Two MTO workers were seriously injured Sunday when they were hit by a vehicle while setting up lane closures just north of Happy Valley, according to City News.

The victims were stuck while walking on the southbound lanes of Highway 400 near Holland Marsh at about 7 a.m.

One of the workers was rushed to an area trauma centre with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries. The other was also hospitalized with injuries deemed non-life-threatening.

The driver invovled remained at the scene and cooperated with officers. It is unclear if any charges or citations will be filed at this time.
