News: Driver charged in connection to deadly Etobicoke pedestrian crash

TORONTO, ON – A man is facing charges in connection to a hit-and-run that claimed the life of a pedestrian early last month.

According to CTV News, the incident occurred on November 7th at the intersection of Kipling Avenue and Ronson Drive.

Investigators say the victim was attempting to cross the roadway when he was struck by a southbound grey 2006 Kia. He was rushed to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries two days later.

The driver, 56-year-old Samir Titouh, was arrested today and is facing multiple charges in connection to the fatal crash, including failure to stop at the scene of an accident causing death and criminal negligence causing death.
