News: 2 arrested after vehicle plows into York home

TORONTO, ON – Toronto Police arrested two people after they were involved in a crash that led a driver to plow into a York home located along the Winona Market Tuesday.

Officers told CP24 that the solo collision happened around 8:30 p.m. at the corner off Winona Drive and Holland Park Avenue. Immediately following the collision, the two people along with a third individual from the automobile all tried to flee the scene on foot.

The third suspect has not yet been found or apprehended. Police said a person was a white man who was five feet 10 inches tall and, at the time of the incident, was wearing red plaid pants, a black hoodie, and white shoes.

Toronto fire crews, who were among the first responders, said no one sustained injuries in this wreck.
