News: Two-vehicle crash in Innisfil sends 1 to hospital 

INNISFIL, ON – One person was transported by a medical helicopter to St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto after a two-vehicle crash that happened Tuesday.

South Simcoe police told CTV News that they were called to the intersection of Big Bay Point Road and the 25th Sideroad and arrived after 10:30 a.m.

Upon arrival, the injured individual, who was left in serious condition, was taken to the trauma centre. Crews and police officers stayed behind at the accident scene and closed Big Bay Point between 20th and 25th Sideroad for the initial investigation and clean-up process.

Officers are working to determine the exact cause of the collision.
