News: 3 people in custody, 5 hospitalized after downtown Toronto crash

DOWNTOWN TORONTO, ON – Three people were taken into custody and five people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash in downtown Toronto on Wednesday, CP24 said.

Preliminary details show that Toronto police had encountered a stolen vehicle, occupied by two juvenile males and one juvenile female at around 10:40 p.m. Police did not issue a pursuit and said that when the two vehicles crashed, the stolen vehicle had flipped over.

EMS crews transported five people to a hospital for the treatment of their non-life-threatening injuries, and police booked the two male juveniles and the female juvenile into custody.
