News: Pedestrian hospitalized following collision near Burnhamdale Park 

MISSISSAUGA, ON – A pedestrian was taken to the hospital as a precaution following a collision that occurred near Burnhamdale Park on Monday.

Peel Regional Police first reported the crash at 7:55 p.m., saying it took place at the intersection of Bloor Street and Fieldgate Drive.

The driver who hit the pedestrian remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

At the time of the reporting, officers told drivers to anticipate delays for the next hour or two as crews worked to clean up the debris from the crash. During the closures, drivers were encouraged to seek alternative routes.

The contributing factors behind the collision and charges have not been announced.
