News: 2 arrested after collision with Toronto PD cruiser in Etobicoke 

ETOBICOKE, ON – Two people were arrested after a collision involving a Toronto police cruiser on Wednesday, according to CTV News.

The events unfolded around 1 a.m. in the area of John Garland Boulevard and Martin Grove Road. One suspect broke into a home and stole two sets of keys. That suspect and two others took off in the victim’s vehicles.

A short time later, the suspects came onto Highway 401 and then crashed into one of the police cruisers.

One suspect tried to flee on foot and was later apprehended and arrested. Police also found the two other suspects in the other vehicle and arrested them.

The police officer who was struck by the suspects appeared to have been spared from injuries, while two of the suspects were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
