ETOBICOKE, ON – Toronto police arrested two suspects after stealing a vehicle and causing a crash that sent one person to the hospital on Friday.
Police told Toronto City News that the collision unfolded around 9:30 a.m. Police received a call about two people who stole a vehicle in the area of Finch Avenue West and Highway 27 South.
Either before, during, or after the dispatched call, the suspects crashed their stolen vehicle into another vehicle.
EMS crews were summoned to the scene and transported an occupant from the second vehicle to a hospital.
Police arrested two of the suspects from the other vehicle. Transportation crews and other officers stayed behind and shut down Finch between Humberline Drive and Humber College Boulevard, and Humber College Boulevard along Finch to Humberline for the investigation.
