BRAMPTON, ON – A woman in her 20s was sent to a hospital following a two-vehicle collision outside Central Peel Secondary School on Monday.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 1 a.m. at the intersection of Kennedy Road and Woodward Avenue, according to CP24. It was there that a driver of a vehicle crashed into an electrical pole and another vehicle.
One of the vehicle occupants, the woman in her 20s, was left in critical condition. Her injuries were deemed “life-threatening.”
Officials did not say if the woman in her 20s was the driver or passenger in the vehicle that crashed into the pole or if she was an occupant of the second vehicle.
Local police and paramedics were at the scene. At this time, police are working to determine why the driver crashed into the pole.
A full investigation is underway.
