News: Driver hospitalized after crash that damages North York home

NORTH YORK, ON – A driver was hospitalized for minor injuries after a crash that damaged a North York home on Wednesday, CTV News reports.

The single-vehicle collision happened around 10 p.m. off the intersection of Weston Road and Reuben Avenue, north of Albion Road.

Police are working to determine what caused the driver to leave the road and plow into the home.

No one was inside the home at the time of the crash, but the exterior of the home did sustain some considerable damage — a gaping hole.

Police have not been able to confirm if charges will be filed against the driver.
