News: Teen driver hurt in single-car crash in Hamilton

HAMILTON, ON – A teen driver was injured as a result of a single-car crash that happened in Hamilton on Friday, CTV News reports.

Police said the incident unfolded off the intersection of Mountain Brow Boulevard and Fennell Avenue East. Somewhere in that area, police said the teen driver’s car drifted off the road and crashed into the bottom of a steep slope.

Police said the vehicle went over 100 feet. Despite the nature of the crash, the teenager only sustained minor injuries.

EMS crews did not say if the young driver needed to go to a hospital.

Tow truck crews took several hours to remove the vehicle.

No charges have been filed at this time.
