News: 2 hospitalized after car plows into tree outside Etobicoke home

ETOBICOKE, ON – Two people were hospitalized after a car crashed into a tree outside of an Etobicoke home on Monday, CTV News reports.

The car crash occurred at the intersection of The Westway and Kipling Avenue.

Medical personnel treated two people for serious, non-life-threatening injuries, and they are expected to make a full recovery.

The impact of the car crash led the vehicle to come to rest on a home lawn, and it was left with significant front-end damage. Video footage also showed white smoke appearing to come from the engine.

Officials did not confirm whether any vehicle was involved or whether the driver involved in the collision could face charges.
