News: Woman hospitalized following vehicle-pedestrian crash in Toronto 

TORONTO, ON – A woman was sent to the hospital following a vehicle-pedestrian crash that happened west of Christie Pits Park on Saturday.

Police told CTV News that the woman was walking in the area of Ossington Avenue and Bloor Street West when she was struck by a vehicle. This incident happened before 3 a.m. and warranted a response from EMS crews.

Ambulance personnel hurried the woman to the emergency room for treatment. Officials initially said her injuries were serious, life-threatening, but later said they were non-life-threatening.

Police confirmed the driver remained at the scene, but did not say if they were cited or whether they could face charges.
