News: 1 hospitalized following pedestrian-vehicle crash in Ajax 

AJAX, ON – One person was brought to a hospital following a pedestrian-vehicle crash in Ajax on Tuesday night.

Durham police told CTV News that the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing the intersection of Salem Road and Highway 401.

Subsequently, the pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries.

Police did not specify whether the driver stayed at the scene or could face charges.
