News: Man’s life claimed in pedestrian-vehicle crash in Vaughan 

VAUGHAN, ON – A man was killed as a result of a pedestrian-vehicle crash in Vaughan on Sunday, CTV News said.

A man was walking or standing when he was struck by a vehicle in the area of Keele Street and Steeles Avenue West. Toronto police responded to the scene around 2 a.m. and declared the male pedestrian dead at the scene.

Police shut down Keele Street between The Chimneystack Road and York Boulevard for the scene clean-up efforts and the investigation period.

Police confirmed the driver stayed at the scene and have not reported any citations or charges for them.

Police are actively working to determine the events that led to the collision. We will provide updates as soon as we learn more.
