News: 1 hospitalized, another arrested after Orillia multi-auto wreck

ORILLIA, ON – A multi-vehicle collision on Atherley Road ended in one person getting flown to a Toronto hospital and a 45-year-old woman’s arrest Monday.

Orillia O.P.P told Orillia Today that they were summoned to the scene around 5:30 p.m. and closed the area for several hours. Prior to the person getting airlifted to a hospital, they had to get extricated from their vehicle as the impact of this crash left them entrapped or pinned.

The hospitalized person is listed in stable condition.

Police have not confirmed what charges the 45-year-old woman will face, but did state that all lanes which were closed have reopened.
