News: 1 killed, 1 injured in motorcycle-truck crash in Kawartha Lakes 

KAWARTHA LAKES, ON – A motorcyclist was killed, and a semi-truck driver was injured in a collision that happened on Highway 7 Saturday. 

Ontario Provincial Police told CTV News that the motorcycle-truck crash happened before 10:30 a.m. near Highway 35. After arriving, officers enacted a several-hour shutdown for the clean-up process and investigation. 

Authorities have not specified the events leading up to the fatal crash or announced any charges against the driver.
