MILTON, ON — Two teenagers and a 26-year-old man lost their lives early Saturday, March 30, due to a fiery rear-end collision at a Milton intersection, according to Toronto Sun.
The triple-fatal crash happened in the area of Sixth Line and Derry Road, prompting a response from Halton Regional Police and emergency crews shortly after 3:20 a.m.
Officials learned that a 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old man were traveling in a two-door Infiniti G35 sedan at a high rate of speed when it approached the intersection and hit the back of a Honda SUV, which was driven by the 26-year-old man.
First responders pronounced all three occupants deceased at the scene.
No other occupants appear to have been involved and no other major injuries were reported.
An investigation by the Collision Reconstruction Unit remains underway.
