News: 3 injured, another critically in two-car crash in Ajax 

AJAX, ON – Three women sustained minor injuries, and another woman was critically hurt in a two-car crash that happened in Ajax Sunday, Toronto City News reports. 

The collision occurred before 5:45 p.m. at the intersection of Kingston Road West and Chapman Drive. Preliminary details from Durham Regional Police Service reveal that the driver of a blue Toyota Corolla crashed into a black Honda Accord. 

The driver of the Toyota, a 60-year-old woman from Pickering, and two female passengers from the Honda, ages 18 and 19, were all left with minor injuries. The Toyota passenger, a 61-year-old woman, also from Pickering, was critically injured. 

EMS crews transported the 61-year-old woman to a trauma centre, and the three other women to a hospital for their injuries. 

The Honda driver, an 18-year-old man, also from Pickering, was left uninjured. 

Police did not specify how the crash unfolded and confirm which driver was at fault. These details will be added once our news team learns more.
