TORONTO, ON – A driver of a white Jaguar SUV was responsible for an 11-vehicle crash that sent them and two other drivers to a hospital Monday.
Preliminary details from Toronto police suggest that the SUV motorist was first seen driving without a front right tire at the intersection of eastbound Lakeshore Road East and Hurontario Street. The driver then drove on a sidewalk and struck several of the vehicles at the intersection of Lakeshore Boulevard West and Kipling Avenue.
Police said that after the collision happened, the driver fled the scene before being apprehended.
Officers have mentioned any criminal charges at this time.
