News: 4 hospitalized after school bus crash in Woodstock

WOODSTOCK, ON – Four kids were sent to a hospital after a school bus crash in Woodstock on Wednesday, CP24 reports.

The incident unfolded when the school bus driver drifted off Old Stage Road and then crashed into a snowy ditch. Woodstock fire crews and police officers pulled up to the scene before 9 a.m.

Officials said out of 40 students, 4 were injured. Those four students were taken to the emergency room for treatment of minor injuries.

After arriving, officials shut down Old Stage Road between the Middletown Line and the Old 14 Line.

Authorities did not say if snowy and icy road conditions played a part in the crash.
