News: 4 pedestrians, drivers hurt in Brampton crash 

BRAMPTON, ON – Four pedestrians and two drivers were injured in a collision that happened along Meadowlark Park on Friday, Peel Regional Police reports.

Police said the crash happened before 7:30 p.m. Preliminary details reveal that two vehicles collided at the intersection of Ray Lawson Boulevard and Timberland Drive. Moments later, four pedestrians were struck by another vehicle. 

The two drivers in the initial crash and the four pedestrians in the secondary collision were injured. 

The two drivers sustained minor injuries, one pedestrian was left with life-threatening injuries, and the three others were left with unspecified injuries. 

The three pedestrians who were left with unspecified injuries were taken to local hospitals, and the one in more serious condition was sent to a trauma centre. 

The three pedestrians are now listed in stable condition, and the other pedestrian is in stable, yet critical condition, an update from police reveals. 

Police confirmed the drivers stayed at the scene and have not announced any charges. 

Law enforcement shut down Ray Lawson Boulevard between McLaughlin Road South and CherryTree Drive for the scene clearance process and investigation.
