SCARBOROUGH, ON – Toronto Police arrested a driver Sunday after he struck a pedestrian and multiple parked cars along a major roadway in northwest Scarbourough.

According to Toronto Sun, the series of collisions occurred shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Passmore Avenue near the intersection with Middlefield Road in the Milliken neighbourhood.

Medics transported the 45-year-old pedestrian and four additional victims to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

Mohammed attempted to flee the scene on foot but was promptly apprehended by police. The suspect faces multiple charges, including driving while impaired, failure to stop and render aid, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
