News: 8 hospitalized, 1 killed in multi-auto crash with fire in Oshawa

OSHAWA, ON – Eight people were sent to the hospital, and one person lost their life following a multi-auto wreck that caused two vehicles to catch fire Saturday.

This collision happened around 12:15 p.m. at Ritson Road South and Bloor Street East, according to Toronto News

While details regarding Saturday’s crash were not specified it appears one of the vehicles may have rear-ended a food truck, causing significant damage to it, and photos from the source indicated completely charred vehicles. An eyewitness also said that some debris struck the occupants involved.

Despite the nature of this wreck, the eight people involved sustained non-life-threatening wounds.
