MISSISSAUGA, ON – Peel Regional Police booked an alleged impaired driver into custody after he caused several crashes on Dixie Road Thursday.
Police told Toronto City News that they believe as many as four vehicles were suspected to have been involved. The alleged impaired driver was also said to have crashed into a light pole and sustained serious injuries as a result.
No other individuals involved in these collisions were injured, although they did suffer property damage to their vehicles.
Police shut down the intersection of Eastgate Parkway and Dixie Road for the clean-up process and investigation.
