News: Boy, 16, fatally struck by plane at Lake Scugog 

CAESAREA, ON – A 16-year-old boy was fatally struck by a plane at Lake Scugog, northeast of Toronto, Friday, Global News reports. 

A small yellow plane had crashed into a dock, where the teenager was, and another boat. This collision happened around 12:30 p.m. and caused the plane to overturn and the teenager to die from his injuries at the scene. 

The pilot and one passenger were able to extricate themselves from the flipped-over plane and sustained minor injuries. 

Durham Regional Police responded to the scene, and the Transportation Safety Board of Canada will be leading the investigation. 

Authorities have not released additional information at this time.
