News: Car hits fire truck in Etobicoke, sending driver to hospital 

ETOBICOKE, ON – A driver was hospitalized for serious wounds, and their car was significantly damaged after colliding with a fire truck Monday.

This crash occurred after 5:30 a.m. on Gardiner Expressway near Park Lawn Road, according to Toronto City News Everywhere.

A photograph showed the truck blocking two lanes. Due to the impact of this wreck, officials were left with no choice but to close westbound Gardiner for more than a couple of hours. They reopened the area after 8 a.m.

Authorities revealed no one else was injured but have yet to confirm the events behind this crash.
