News: Collision closes parts of Hwy 404 in Aurora

AURORA, ON — Ontario Provincial Police were called to a vehicle crash early last Friday, April 5, on Highway 404 in southeast Aurora, according to OPP GTA Traffic.

A closure of the northbound highway between Bloomington Road and Vivian Road was initially reported at about 6:02 a.m., and just after 6:30 a.m., all southbound lanes of Highway 404 between Wellington Street and Bloomington Road were also blocked.

By 7:54 a.m., nearly two hours after the initial report, all northbound and southbound lanes were announced reopened to the public.


As of this writing, officials have not provided any information about the involved parties or confirmed any injuries.
