CALEDON, ON – A multi-vehicle crash involving a school bus claimed the lives of two people and left three others, including a child, injured on Tuesday morning.

According to CTV News, the crash occurred shortly before 8 a.m. on Heart Lake Road, between Mayfield Road and Old School Road.

First responders pronounced one victim dead at the scene. Another was rushed to a local hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries later on. Their identities are not mentioned in the report.

The driver of the bus along with another adult victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries. A child also riding the bus was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
