News: Crash shuts down part of Hwy 403 EB for hours in Hamilton

HAMILTON, ON — All eastbound lanes of Highway 403 at Highway 6 in Hamilton were closed for several hours early Sunday morning due to a collision, according to 511ONCentral.

The closure was announced at around 1:18 a.m. and appeared to remain in place until just before 8:54 a.m., more than 7.5 hours later, when the scene was reported cleared.

Following the accident, local officials have not released further information indicating the cause or nature of the event, or the number of vehicles involved.
