News: Crash shuts down southbound Hwy 404 exit ramp in North York

TORONTO, ON — A Highway 404 collector ramp in Toronto’s North York district was closed for nearly four hours Wednesday afternoon following a collision, according to 511Ontario.

The crash unfolded on the ramp from southbound ON-404 to the Don Valley Parkway, near the Parkway Forest neighborhood. It was first reported by 511 at 1:20 p.m.

Following the accident, local officials have not disclosed any information about the circumstances or the number of vehicles involved.

It was also not immediately apparent whether anyone was hurt and/or had to be transported to a hospital.


By 5:05 p.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all lanes were reopened.
