TORONTO, ON – A vehicle accident was reported Tuesday morning on the southbound HOV lane of Highway 427 in west Toronto’s Etobicoke area, according to 511Ontario.
The crash prompted a closure of all southbound lanes at Finch Avenue West, near Claireville Reservoir, some time before 8:16 a.m.
While officials have not disclosed the cause or nature of the wreck, the southbound highway was reopened by 9:11 a.m., nearly an hour later.

It was not immediately apparent how many vehicles were impacted and whether anyone suffered serious injuries.
