News: Crossing guard killed in crash with trash truck in Hamilton 

HAMILTON, ON – A crossing guard was killed in a crash involving a trash truck in the Hill Park area on Thursday, CTV News reports.

The crossing guard was struck by a trash truck at the intersection of Mohawk Road and Upper Wentworth Street around 2:30 p.m.

The crossing guard, a 52-year-old man, died at the scene.

The truck driver stayed at the scene. Police are working to determine the events that led to the collision.
