News: Driver, 16, charged after 5-vehicle crash in Mississauga injures 6

MISSISSAUGA, ON – A teen is facing multiple charges in connection to a five-vehicle collision in Mississauga Saturday evening that sent six people to the hospital.

According to the Toronto Sun, the crash occurred on Englington Avenue near Highway 407 at about 6:20 p.m.

The crash prompted first responders to extract a man from a mangled vehicle, as captured in a video circulating on social media. Police later confirmed five vehicles were involved and six individuals were hospitalized with minor injuries.

A 16-year-old driver was arrested and charged with dangerous vehicle operation and stunt driving. Authorities refused to comment further on the charges.
