TORONTO, ON – A suspected DUI crash involving four vehicles in Mississauga left two people dead, according to the CBC.
The crash took place shortly after midnight at the intersection of Queen Elizabeth Way and Mississauga Road.
Two unidentified victims were pronounced dead the scene of the crash. The total number of those injured as a result are unclear at this time.
One driver involved in the fatal crash was taken into custody after displaying signs of impairment. They are currently facing two counts of impaired driving causing death and two counts of dangerous driving causing death.
Major traffic delays were reported in the area for some time following the crash. All lanes have since reopened.
