News: Driver dead following two-vehicle crash in New Tecumseth 

NEW TECUMSETH, ON – A driver died following a two-vehicle crash between a passenger vehicle and a big rig on Highway 89 Monday. 

The collision took place before 2:30 p.m. and warranted a response from Nottawasaga OPP and first responders, according to Barrie 411 News. Emergency crews declared the driver dead at the scene and identified them as a 51-year-old adult from Alliston. 

After arriving, officials shut down Highway 89 between 6th Line and County Road 56 for several hours for the clean-up process and investigation.
