News: Driver hits, injures 70-year-old woman in North York

NORTH YORK, ON – A 70-year-old woman crossing Jane Street and Finch Avenue was injured when she was hit by a vehicle along Driftwood Park Tuesday.

The crash happened before 5 p.m., according to Toronto City News. Ambulance personnel were quick to rush to the scene and take the woman to a hospital. As it stands, she is recovering from injuries said to be life-threatening.

Police confirmed the driver stayed at the scene but have not announced any charges at this time.
