News: Driver killed, passenger hurt after single-vehicle crash in Vaughan

VAUGHAN, ON – A driver lost his life, and a passenger was left in serious condition following a single-vehicle crash that happened after their car slammed into a wall and tree. 

The single-vehicle crash took place before 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Weston Road and Rutherford Road, according to CBC

Police identified the driver as a 48-year-old man and the passenger as a 44-year-old adult. 

Authorities shut down Weston Road from Astoria Boulevard to Valeria Boulevard. 

Officers are actively working to determine why the driver lost control of his vehicle while driving.
