News: Female e-scooter rider killed in hit-and-run crash in North York 

NORTH YORK, ON – A female e-scooter rider was killed in a hit-and-run crash that happened in Bathurst Manor on Wednesday. 

Toronto police told Toronto City News that the driver struck the woman riding the scooter around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Codsell Avenue and Goddard Street. The driver did not render aid to the woman and immediately fled the scene prior to first responders’ arrival. 

Officers suspect the driver was operating a small, white sedan. Police are working to obtain a description of the suspect and pinpoint the exact cause of the crash.
