News: Girl hospitalized after collision near Toronto’s Raymore Park 

TORONTO, ON – A 9-year-old girl was hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries after a collision near Raymore Park Wednesday.

Toronto police told Toronto City News that the events unfolded around 9 a.m. when the driver of a vehicle struck the girl as she was crossing the intersection of  Pine Street and Lawrence Avenue West. Authorities did not specify whether the girl was traveling by foot or by bicycle or scooter.

Police confirmed that the driver remained at the accident scene but have not announced any citations or charges at this time.

The Toronto District School Board said the girl is a student at Weston Memorial Junior Public School. She appears to be in stable condition.
