News: Hit-and-run along TMU sends 2 pedestrians to hospital 

TORONTO, ON – Out of four pedestrians, two were hospitalized after getting struck by a hit-and-run driver along Toronto Metropolitan University Tuesday.

Toronto police responded to the intersection of Gerrard Street East and Yonge Street after 2 p.m.

At this time, officers suspect the driver was operating a dark green sedan with a cracked windshield. Officials said the fleeing motorist was last seen traveling on eastbound Gould Street toward Church Street.

Authorities have not been able to pinpoint the suspect’s license plate number. Anyone who knows the driver’s whereabouts or who could provide more information about the crash is urged to contact the police department immediately.
