News: Hit-and-run in North York sends pedestrian to hospital 

NORTH YORK, ON – EMS crews transported a pedestrian to hospital after a hit-and-run in the Steeles neighbourhood reported before 1:45 a.m. Sunday. 

The pedestrian, a 49-year-old man, was walking on southbound Victoria Park Avenue when they were struck by the driver, who fled the scene, CBC said. 

The man is recovering from non-life-threatening wounds. 

Police are working to pinpoint the suspect and urge the public to contact them should they have any more information.
