News: Male motorcyclist, 39, critically hurt in wreck in Downsview 

TORONTO, ON – A 39-year-old man operating a motorcycle was sent to a hospital in critical condition after he was struck by a vehicle in the Downsview district Saturday.

Toronto City News said the events unfolded around 10 p.m. when the driver of a white Toyota Camry, a 37-year-old man, had attempted to pursue a turn from northbound Cornelius Parkway onto westbound Wilson Avenue and struck the motorcyclist (operating a BMW motorcycle) on eastbound Wilson. The impact left significant damage to the motorcycle.

Officers confirmed the driver remained at the scene, but did not say if he would face citations or criminal charges.
