News: Male pedestrian hit, injured by vehicle at Etobicoke intersection

TORONTO, ON — Authorities responded to an injury pedestrian collision late Thursday afternoon on Thirty Seventh Street in Toronto’s Etobicoke district, reports Toronto Police Operations.

The crash took place at the intersection with Lake Shore Boulevard West, in the district’s Long Branch neighborhood. First responders were dispatched to the scene at around 4:29 p.m.

A sequence of events leading up to the collision has not been shared, but a male victim was taken to a local hospital as a “trauma run.”

No information about the injured person or the driver, who stayed at the scene, has been made available.

Drivers were advised to seek alternate routes due to potential delays in the area.
