News: Man, 66, loses life to pedestrian crash in Whitchurch-Stouffville 

WHITCHURCH-STOUFFVILLE, ON – A 66-year-old man lost his life to a pedestrian crash that took place in Whitchurch-Stouffville, 50 kilometres from Vaughan, on Monday.

The 66-year-old man was struck while crossing the intersection of Highway 48 and Bethesda Road around 3:30 p.m., CTV News reports.

The pedestrian succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Police shut down the area for several hours for the scene clean-up process and overall investigation.

Law enforcement has not confirmed whether the driver will be facing charges.
